We feel that committing extended time to regular preventive health visits greatly improves the quality of care. Preventive visits provide the opportunity to survey all aspects of a child’s health: physical, nutritional and emotional. Listening to family concerns and family dynamics is very important. Certainly, the priorities during preventive visits change over the course of a child’s development. There are multiple influences on a child’s overall health including family relationships; developmental and behavioral problems; educational process; social interactions; and the media. It is important for us to take the extended time to consider these multiple influences on your child’s health.
