About

Growing up in a family of physicians, Dr. Gagua’s interest in medicine was sparked from a young age. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Berea College in Kentucky. Dr. Gagua earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, in Lexington, Kentucky. Following that, Dr. Gagua practiced as a hospitalist for 10 years. In 2019, she transitioned to primary care, as she was drawn to longitudinal relationships with her patients. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Gagua diagnoses and treats both acute and chronic conditions and practices preventative care. In her free time, Dr. Gagua enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, movies and music.
