She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Files then went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is board certified in Family Medicine
