About

Dr. Kerr is a native Nashvillian. She earned a B.A. in chemistry at the University of Virginia. After teaching high school science for one year, she attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and subsequently completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Vanderbilt University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.

Dr. Kerr is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and previously served as the chief of Ophthalmology at Baptist Hospital. She has practiced ophthalmology in Nashville for sixteen years and is proud to be a part of Heritage Medical Associates. She enjoys spending her free time with her spouse and two children.
