A Nashville native and graduate of Harpeth Hall, Dr. Leslie Franklin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, graduating with honors. Dr. Franklin completed her training in Internal Medicine from the University of Tennessee, where she served as chief resident at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.

Practicing since 2007, Dr. Franklin focuses on both preventive care and chronic disease management and prides herself on developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families. She is committed to working with her patients to understand and address their concerns to optimize their health.

Outside of work, Dr. Franklin enjoys spending time with her husband and their two teenage daughters. In her limited spare time, you can find her antique shopping, reading, sewing or working in her yard with the help of her two dogs and two cats.
