About

Dr. Lauren Pinkard was born in Michigan, but moved with her family to Brentwood, TN at age 13. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She then attended the University of Memphis where she received her Masters of Public Health (MPH). She stayed in Memphis to complete her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. 

 Dr. Pinkard completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. During residency she was Chief Resident, and earned several top awards including Outstanding Senior Resident, Outstanding Resident Surgeon, and Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology. She was also recognized as the top resident teacher in her program two years in a row. 

 After residency she continued her practice in Chicago, IL before moving back to her home state of Tennessee to be closer to family. She enjoys spending time getting to know her patients and educating women about their health. Dr. Pinkard is passionate about providing high quality care for women at all stages of their life.
