Physician - Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
About

Dr. Stevens is a board-certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. She grew up in Macon, Georgia, and attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated summa cum laude with highest honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Psychology. She completed her medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN, and then went on to complete her residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Stevens enjoys taking care of both pediatric and adult patients. Her special areas of interest include medical and surgical management of recurrent and chronic sinus disease, chronic nasal obstruction, recurrent and chronic ear disease, evaluation of hearing loss, and surgical correction of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. She uses advanced surgical techniques and technology, including 3-D intraoperative CT navigation for sinus surgery, in-office sinus procedures using local anesthesia only, and the latest tonsillectomy instrumentation.

Dr. Stevens focuses specifically on performing the least-invasive option for her patients in order to limit exposure to general anesthesia and performs the following procedures in her office on appropriate patients:

  • Balloon sinus surgery
  • Nasal polyp removal
  • Inferior turbinate reduction
  • Treatment for runny nose
  • Treatment for tongue and lip tie
  • Removal of ear wax
  • Lower lip biopsy

When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Stevens enjoys “making Heaven crowded” by sharing the good news of the Gospel, spending time with her family (husband, Jason; son, Reme; and Australian Shepherd, Truett), traveling, trying new restaurants, watching football, playing golf, hiking, and listening to live music.
