About

Dr. Joy Cox grew up in Knoxville, TN. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Vanderbilt University. After completing her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she pursued a fellowship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, such as Robotic and Laparoscopic surgery, and in female pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
