About

Dr. John Locke earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Murray State University and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. He completed his Internal Medicine residency, serving as Chief Resident, and his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He enjoys caring for patients with the full spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, with particular clinical interests in colorectal cancer screening and the management of inflammatory bowel disease. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and their two beagles.

Dr. Locke is board certified in Internal Medicine.
