Abigail Jennings, M.D.

Dr. Jennings is a pediatrician in our Hermitage office with over 10 years of experience in her field.  She was born and raised in middle Tennessee and has deep roots in Donelson where her parents grew up.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University. She attended East Tennessee State University for medical school and completed her residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She is board certified in Pediatrics.

 Dr. Jennings began her practice back home in middle Tennessee when she joined Children’s Clinic East in 2013. She enjoys the education aspect of her job and helping families raise healthy and well-adjusted children. She takes great joy in watching her patients grow and develop and in seeing their personalities emerge.  As a mom of two daughters, she has practical experience to share with her patients and their families on every topic from infancy through the teen years.  She loves spending time with her husband, daughters, and their miniature schnauzer. Together they like to hike, bike, cook/bake, read, watch SEC football and they are active in their church.  You might run into Dr. Jennings at the zoo, library, playground, local coffee shop, or food truck.  Come meet Dr. Jennings and her nurses for a joyful pediatric experience.
