Dr. Joy Cox grew up in Knoxville, TN. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Vanderbilt University. Following the completion of her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she then pursued a fellowship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Fournace, received her Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She then completed her graduate education at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Lisa is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who complements the practices of the Ob-Gyn physicians at Heritage Medical Associates. Her special interests and training include treating chronic pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, interstitial cystitis, and female sexual dysfunction.

Dr. Nancy Lipsitz joined Heritage in 2007 bringing with her nine years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in the Nashville area. Dr. Bernadette Jones Meadors completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University where she served as Chief Administrative Resident. After residency, she continued her affiliation with LSU as an instructor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and served as medical director of the Orleans Women’s Health Center.

Dr. Rebele joins Heritage Medical Associates after six years with Vanderbilt University. She grew up near the New Jersey shore, and became interested in medicine at an early age. Dr. Rebele attended Lehigh University where she earned dual degrees in Behavioral Neuroscience and English. Dr. Anne Rossell is board certified in OB/GYN. The daughter of an Air Force physician, she lived in Ohio, Arizona, Texas, and Indiana before moving to Nashville.
