Beverly Zak, M.D., Ph.D.

About

Dr. Zak is a native of southern California who received her M.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego. During medical school, she also completed a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences. She came to Nashville in 2006 and completed residency in dermatology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Zak is a board-certified dermatologist and participates in continuing medical education with the American Board of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of several professional organizations.

Trained in diverse aspects of dermatology; her primary clinical interests include prevention, detection and treatment of skin cancer, geriatric dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. She has a passion for educating children about sun protection. She helps patients improve the health of their skin by crafting individualized treatment plans to address their unique dermatologic concerns. Dr. Zak is very happy to be living in Nashville and enjoys experiencing the diverse offerings of the city and surrounding areas.
