Dr. Parker was born and raised in Nashville. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Vanderbilt University. He completed his internship at Riverside Regional Hospital in Virginia. He then completed his residency at the Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
He joined Heritage in 2008 after practicing in Nashville since 2006. He is board certified in Ophthalmology. He has special interest in medical and surgical glaucoma. He is the past president of the Nashville Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. In his free time he enjoys running, tennis, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
