Dr. Fentriss graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and has practiced Internal Medicine in Nashville since 1997. She greatly enjoys the lifelong relationships she develops with her patients. Though highly trained and well experienced in diagnosing and treating complex medical disease processes, she also values and spends much time working on preventing disease and maintaining health. Every patient in her practice will meet with her for an annual Wellness Exam to establish a personalized plan for the upcoming year.
Dr. Fentriss is one of four physicians within Heritage Medical Associates that is affiliated with MDVIP and specializes in this very personalized approach to patient care – incorporating evidence based medicine in ways that best suit each individual while also maintaining unrushed patient visits with scheduling flexibility. Within Heritage Medical Associates Dr. Fentriss has served on the Board of Directors and continues to coordinate a very robust continuing medical education series for all physicians which brings in well known authorities on a host of current medical topics.
Dr. Fentriss is an active member of the Nashville Medical Community serving on the boards of both the Nashville Academy of Medicine and the Middle Tennessee Partnership for Internal Medicine. She has served as President of Tennessee Women in Medicine and currently sits as a member of the Ethics Committee at Baptist Hospital. Nationally, Dr. Fentriss is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians.
