The Department of Endocrinology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of hormone related disorders which include: diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, calcium disorders, adrenal gland problems, pituitary disorders and a variety of male and female hormone issues. At our downtown location, we have a full service Diabetes Center which provides diabetes education, dietary counseling, and insulin pump starts. We are also equipped to perform thyroid ultrasound, thyroid biopsies, and bone density testing within the Heritage network. What our patients say about us:

  • "I had an office visit with Ms. Tiffanie Wright in the Diabetes Education Department today, and she was swift, professional, and most helpful. She is one of your best professionals in your practice. Both she and Dr. Wierum always provide exceptional service.”

  • "I have been treated by my physician at Heritage Medical since 1998 or 1999...I think the world of my physician and feel I would no longer be here had I not received his care..."
