Physician - Pediatrics
About

A native of Nashville, Dr. Pinkley attended Vanderbilt University where he received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology. He then spent a year in seminary before pursuing medical school at East Tennessee State University. From there, he went to Norfolk, VA, where he completed his pediatrics residency and chief residency at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. He was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in November 2004. More recently, he completed his Advanced Wilderness Life Support certification.

After practicing pediatrics in Nashville for 15 years, he transitioned his practice to Heritage.  Mental health and complex medical and developmental issues are particular interests.  He enjoys all kinds of outdoor pursuits, especially mountain biking, snow skiing, and trail running in wild, remote places.  He is most proud of his wife, Kelly, and his two children, North and Virginia.
