It is with a heavy heart that we share that Dr. Rowland Hawkins passed away suddenly in March 2019. Dr. Hawkins was loved and highly respected, both within HMA and throughout the Middle Tennessee community. Known for treating his patients and colleagues like family, and for his signature greeting of "Happy Day," Dr. Hawkins will be greatly missed.

Dr. Kerr is a native Nashvillian. She earned a B.A. in chemistry at the University of Virginia. After teaching high school science for one year, she attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree.
