Born in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Pharris has spent most of his life in Tennessee. He went to high school in Nashville and then received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Developmental Biology in the College Scholar’s Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis, and completed his internal medicine internship and subsequent residency at Vanderbilt University. Since July, 1997, he has been proud to be a part of Heritage Medical Associates and has been at the Cool Springs office since February 2007.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine, the Nashville Academy of Medicine, and the Tennessee Medical Association. He is board certified in internal medicine.
