About

Dr. Emily Shekarabi attended the University of Georgia in Athens where she earned degrees in Chemistry and French. She then attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her pediatric residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Emily is deeply invested in her family and her church. She enjoys traveling with her husband, Eric, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team, and playing soccer. Dr. Shekarabi is very excited to be a part of the Heritage Medical group.
