About

A native of the Tri-Cities area in East Tennessee, Dr. Scudder is a graduate of the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. She performed both her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Department of Internal Medicine located at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, and served as Chief Resident of the program.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is an associate member of the American College of Physicians. She was elected a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in medical school. She serves as an instructor of medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical program at Baptist Hospital. Recreational activities include reading, sewing, playing the piano and being with her family.
