About

A native of Nashville, Dr. Sanders completed her undergraduate education at Boston College, completing a bachelor of arts in Economics. She received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After practicing medicine in Augusta, Georgia for 11 years, Dr. Sanders decided to return to Nashville with her family. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and focuses on wellness and preventative medicine as well as treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions including diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertension, and heart disease.

In her free time, Dr. Sanders loves spending time outdoors skiing and snowboarding as well as travelling to watch her son and daughter, ages 14 and 11, play club soccer.
