Dr. Frank Caprio earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, serving as Primary Care Chief Resident for one year. Dr. Caprio practiced internal medicine in the Brentwood and Franklin area for ten years before joining Heritage Medical Associates in 2006.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
